BORROMEO Collection — Coastal Luxury Outdoor Furniture Australia
If you are looking for coastal luxury outdoor furniture that captures the relaxed elegance of Mediterranean coastal living, the BORROMEO Collection at Casa Valour is designed for exactly that. Created by Claudio Bellini Studio in Milan and inspired by the calming colours and textures of the Mediterranean Sea, BORROMEO combines the strength of corrosion-resistant aluminium with the natural beauty of woven rope detailing and warm teak surfaces. Available as a complete outdoor sofa set and a 6 seater outdoor dining set, BORROMEO is the most accessible entry point into Casa Valour’s curated range of designer outdoor furniture — coastal luxury that suits modern Australian homes, beachside retreats and contemporary alfresco living without compromise on design pedigree or build quality.
Why BORROMEO Is Australia’s Most Considered Coastal Luxury Outdoor Furniture Collection
The BORROMEO Collection draws its design language directly from the Mediterranean coastline — the simplicity of natural rope, the modern lines of architectural aluminium and the organic warmth of teak combining to create outdoor furniture that feels light, refined and deeply relaxed. Claudio Bellini Studio, founded in Milan in 1996 and recognised globally as one of Europe’s most influential design practices, has created in BORROMEO a collection that captures coastal living without resorting to clichés.
The defining material story of BORROMEO is the way three elements work together. The aluminium frame provides clean architectural structure and corrosion-resistant durability. The woven rope detailing — integrated along the sides, backs and dining chairs — adds texture, breathability and that characteristic coastal-Mediterranean warmth. The natural teak tabletop on both the coffee table and dining table introduces organic richness that ages beautifully in outdoor conditions. Together, these three materials create coastal luxury outdoor furniture that looks effortlessly considered rather than over-designed.
What makes BORROMEO particularly compelling for Australian buyers is its accessibility. At $5,099 for the complete sofa set and $6,899 for the 6 seater dining set, BORROMEO represents the most price-accessible entry point into the curated range of designer outdoor furniture at Casa Valour — without compromising on Italian design pedigree, material quality or long-term outdoor performance.
The BORROMEO Collection is built for Australian coastal and outdoor living:
Scratch-resistant and corrosion-resistant aluminium frames — durable, low-maintenance and built specifically to handle Australian sun, salt air and coastal humidity
Premium woven rope detailing — strong, resilient and visually warm, integral to the structural and aesthetic identity of every piece
Natural teak tabletops on the coffee table and dining table — warm, organic and chosen for outdoor durability
UV-resistant, dirt-repellent and wear-resistant cushions — designed to maintain shape, comfort and colour through every Australian season
Two complete sets — a 5 person sofa set and 6 seater dining set — that work together as a coordinated coastal outdoor room

BORROMEO Outdoor Sofa Set
The BORROMEO outdoor sofa set is the lounge anchor of the collection — a complete 5 person outdoor lounge arrangement that brings Mediterranean coastal warmth to your alfresco space. The set includes two single armchairs, one generous three-seater sofa and a coordinating coffee table with a natural teak top (1220×700mm) — everything needed to create a relaxed, considered outdoor lounge in a single purchase.
The defining visual feature is the woven rope detailing integrated along the sides and backs of every seating piece. The rope adds genuine textile warmth and breathability while reinforcing the structural identity of the collection — this is rope as a structural and aesthetic statement, not as decoration. Combined with the scratch-resistant aluminium frame and natural teak coffee table top, the BORROMEO outdoor sofa set delivers a material harmony that is rare at this price point in the Australian market.
The UV-resistant, dirt-repellent and wear-resistant cushions are upholstered in performance outdoor fabric designed to maintain shape, colour and comfort through years of outdoor use. The result is coastal luxury outdoor furniture that performs as well as it looks — comfortable enough for daily relaxation, refined enough for entertaining guests.
Pairs naturally with the BORROMEO outdoor dining set to create a complete coastal-inspired outdoor room in the same Claudio Bellini design language.
Perfect for: Coastal homes, beachside retreats, alfresco areas, pool surrounds and anyone who wants outdoor lounge furniture that captures the relaxed elegance of Mediterranean coastal living.
BORROMEO Outdoor Dining Set
The BORROMEO outdoor dining set extends the collection’s coastal Mediterranean identity into your alfresco dining zone. The complete 6 seater set includes one generous dining table (2136×1000×765mm) with a natural teak tabletop and six dining chairs featuring the same woven rope detailing as the sofa set — creating a fully coordinated coastal outdoor room when paired with the lounge collection.
The natural teak tabletop is the visual heart of the dining set — warm, organic and richly textured against the clean aluminium frame. Natural teak ages beautifully in outdoor conditions, developing a silvery patina over time that many buyers consider an aesthetic improvement on the original finish. The corrosion-resistant aluminium frame ensures the table remains stable and structurally sound through every Australian season.
The dining chairs combine the same woven rope detailing as the sofa pieces with plush UV-resistant cushions — comfortable enough for long meals and entertaining, durable enough for daily outdoor use. The chairs are proportioned for genuine dining comfort, supportive across an extended lunch or dinner without feeling stiff or formal.
The BORROMEO dining set works equally well as a standalone alfresco dining solution or paired with the BORROMEO sofa set to create a complete coastal outdoor entertaining space.
Perfect for: Coastal dining areas, beachside homes, alfresco entertaining spaces and anyone who wants a 6 seater outdoor dining set with genuine Italian design character at an accessible price point.
